About Cairn Foundation
Cairn Foundation is a registered not-for-profit society under the Society Registration Act, 1860. The primary purpose of the organization is to serve the development needs of the communities around Cairn’s operational areas in India. Registered in December 2010, for the last three years the NGO has been implementing small projects locally in Barmer, Rajasthan. These have ranged from blood donation camps, to supporting the District Administration in a Clean Barmer, Green Barmer Campaign, activities in support of the District Education Office around the Right to Education, campaigns on Saving the Girl Child etc. In the last year, the organization has focused most of its efforts on implementing programs for youth employability Cairn
Enterprise Centre(CEC) and
Cairn Center of Excellence (CCoE), Safe drinking Water, Nandghar and Farm based initiatives. The organization is funded by Cairn, Oil & Gas vertical of Vedanta Limited and is closely linked to it’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
As a part of the compliance for MHA, the CEC-NGO, named as “Cairn Foundation” should have its own website wherein all its programmes, objectives, impacts, etc. are to be displayed. This website shall be available on public domain for assess to all in order to seek information about various programmes implemented and also to invite association for various funding’s and partnership. PSCM to carry out tendering for identifying a suitable vendor for project implementation.
