Project Highlights
11 anganwadis have been refurbished and handed over to community for improved delivery of services to students. In addition on request of the community 2 more Anganwadi at Vani & Beveta site of Gujarat region has been refurshibed.
Smart Aww's is well equipped with required infrastructure, play equipment's and attractive theme-based paintings to keep children motivated to come to Aanganwadi daily and avail the services provided at the centre.
296 students have been directly benefitted through the improved infrastructure at anganwadis at 11 anganwadis.

Project Highlights
The three main objectives of this intervention were to create access to state-of-the-art Anganwadi centres with all basic facilities, provide need-based support services (as per the baseline study analysis) to ensure holistic development of children and carry out IEC activities to create a sense of ownership among all.
The baseline study has been completed across all 15 selected Anganwadi, finalising the intervention areas as well as creating the base for tracking the project progress.
11 Anganwadis refurbished and supported by smart Anganwadi workers (AWWs).
Smart AWWs well equipped with required infrastructure, play equipment's and attractive theme-based paintings to keep children motivated to come to Anganwadi daily and avail the services provided at the centre.
The project benefitted 1,794 beneficiaries enrolled at AWC.

Project Highlights -
The project focuses on strengthening the efficacy of the government's Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) programme, to improve the health and well-being of children in the age group of 3-6 years
State-level approval from ICDS has been received for working in these 15 government anganwadi. This approval holds great significance as it will help ensure department ownership and accountability once Cairn exits from this project.
The implementing agencies responsible for carrying out daily field level engagement have been shortlisted and on-ground activities will be initiated in the next financial year.
