Project Highlights

• Health Awareness drive: With spiking cases of COVID-19, the first intervention launched in the areas was of creating Covid Awareness through mobile awareness van. Close to 61000+ community members have been touched across 20 villages of Amod and Jambusar region.
• Community Infrastructure development work: In order to address the problem of high malnourished children registered in the area, we have taken a concieus step to refurbish the exiting Anganwadi. Creating a fun and attractive learning space will help ensure student enrollment and retention in these centre, thus supporting governement mission of reducing malnutrition through Aanganwadi program.
• School Infrastructure development : Promoting learning in 2 government schools of Jambusar region has been achieved through our library intervention. A new set up of attractive interior with Bala painting & required infrastructure has been created for students. This has helped increase the footfall to this room and ensured development of leadership skills as the library is fully managed by school students.
• Promoting Livelihood & income generation Activities for women- Livelihood & income generation for females has also been one of the fore front of our community initiatives. Through various skill training initiatives on topics like beautician, vermicompost, entreperneruail skills, etc. we have engaged 50+ women of 3 Self Help Group of women in Nondhana, Kavli & Sarbhan village.
• Awareness generation activity & celebrations of regional festivals & events - To further strenghten our rapport with community and stakeholders various community events on occasion of special days of national importance has been celebrated. These include but not limit itself to International girl child day, Environment day, Children's day, Yoga day, Health & Nutrition awareness session for women etc. Total of 36 events have been conducted in Bharuch region with participation of local leaders & community members.
