Record breaking Mega-long awareness drive launched between 19th December and 26th December. Participants from 22 countries ran marathon to raise awareness.
Kick Start Drive launched by Chairman, Mr. Anil Agarwal, Mrs. Kiran Agarwal and senior management.
Governor of Rajasthan, Chief Minister and other important authorities supported the mass awareness drive.
47,849 people registered in this event to create the awareness on vaccination in our fight against COVID-19. An entry was made to the UK World Book of Records for organizing the largest virtual run.

Project Highlights
The 5th edition of Cairn Pink City Virtual Half Marathon was one of the record-breaking events which has witnessed the registration of more than 40,000 participants from across 23 countries. The event was centered around the theme ‘Mask Hi Vaccine Hain’ and bagged an entry in UK World book of records for largest virtual marathon.

Under this initiative, a 6-month long structured engagement focused on promoting wellness, sports and fitness through multiple engagement platforms were organized in Barmer. In addition, these engagement platforms are also leveraged to promote awareness on social issues and promote campaigns of national importance like “Swatch Bharat Abhiyan”, “Saving and Educating Girl child ”, “organ donation”, etc. These engagement and awareness drive later culminate into the Half Marathon event, helps in touching the lives of communities across various geographies.
Regular fitness trainings sessions were organized in 20 government schools, through a dedicated coach. These sessions helped in organizing a district level inter-school competition in collaboration with education department and sports authority Barmer. More than 1500 students participated.
In addition to the above, a community sports programs and mini marathon was organized to engage and create awareness among rural youths on sports opportunities in 50 selected villages of Barmer district. More than 5000 schools’ students along with community youths participated during the sports events.
This year some of the new initiatives which added to the momentum were international participants, promotion and awareness of organ donation as well as each registration received for the marathon contributed towards one free meal for a child through "Akshya Patra Foundation'.
A total of ~10,000 participants comprising of male and female veteran runners, youth, aged, families, children ran in all categories for the causes closest to their hearts. The participants also included more than 100 runners in the differently abled category, making the Cairn Pink City Half Marathon one of the largest inclusive marathons.
