Jeevan Amrit Project
In partnership with the government, to address the critical issue of clean drinking water shortage, Cairn implemented the Jeevan Amrit Project, installing 124 RO plants and 14 borewells across Barmer district. The initiative was aimed at ensuring the accessibility of safe drinking water for the local population. Over the years, these facilities have provided a reliable source of clean water, significantly improving the health and quality of life for the community.
In FY'24, Cairn successfully concluded the project by transferring the management of these RO plants to the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and community-based water committees, ensuring the sustainability and continued operation of these vital resources. This handover marks a significant milestone in Cairn's commitment to enhancing community welfare and supporting sustainable development initiatives.
