Project Highlights

• Facilitated construction of ~20,500 household toilets, including ~4,000 toilets with attached bathrooms under Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan and 188 school toilets across Barmer District in partnership with the local government agencies.
• Based on the intervention, there has been a significant increase in access to household toilets, it has increase from 16% to 93%, and usage from 46% to 80% due to innovative method of incentivizing community members .
• 73% of household have reported significant improved in health and women safety and comfort.
