SUPPORT TO PHC

In collaboration with the District Medical & Health Office (DMHO) Cairn has been supporting the Primary Health Centres (PHCs) in Ravva, S’Yanam, Andhra Pradesh and Suvali, Surat, Gujarat to manage emergency cases and provide immediate first aid. Together, these centres conducted over 54,363 OPDs consultations in FY’25
In FY’25, 100% pregnant and lactating women population in S’Yanam were provided with regular health care services, including health camps and nutritional support.

In FY’24, the PHC staff in Ravva and Suvali conducted 52,140 OPDs and IPDs with support from Cairn.

Multiple Health Camps were conducted at S. Yanam PHC in collaboration with Konaseema Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Amalapuram.
The program was inaugurated in the presence of essential stakeholders, including Village Sarpanch. Doctors from the departments of Orthopaedics, Dental, and Neurology examined the patients and provided free medicines. More than 350 patients from S. Yanam and nearby villages availed the benefits of this camp.

Total of 42,133 community members benefited from various health services provided by Cairn supported PHC (OPD's, IP's, lab test, etc.).
COVID precautionary measures and tests were carried out as usual at Ravva with distribution of masks and sanitizers.
Nutrition kits were distributed in collaboration with government to pregnant women registered at PHC.
