Cairn Centre of Excellence (CCoE), Jodhpur

At the Cairn Centre of Excellence (CCoE), established in collaboration with the Agriculture University, 101 students are currently enrolled in the B. Tech (Agriculture) program, gaining academic knowledge and hands-on experience to drive innovation in the farm sector.
Through vocational courses, 900+ farmers have been trained in short-term, skill-based programs such as Women Entrepreneurship and Sewing Training, Goat Farming, Millet Cultivation, Poultry Farming, Beekeeping, Mushroom Production, and Drone Pilot Training. These courses empower rural communities and equip participants with practical skills to enhance agricultural livelihoods.
18 students from Barmer were sent to the Agriculture University to undergo specialised training in tractor repair, strengthening technical know-how in mechanized farming.
The expertise of the Jodhpur Agriculture University was also leveraged during ‘Maru Udaan’, a district-level women empowerment initiative. An expert session on ‘Entrepreneurship from Home’ was conducted, benefitting over 170 women with actionable insights and inspiration to start their own ventures.

Taking a step towards creating an Aatamnirbhar Bharat, Cairn Oil & Gas signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Agriculture University, Jodhpur to conduct vocational and degree courses in farming and non-farming sector which will help in promoting livelihood in the field of agriculture and allied activities through the Cairn Centre of Excellence (CCoE).
At CCoE in collaboration with the Agriculture University, a total of 225 students are enrolled in the B.Tech (Agriculture) program, which is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Through this collaboration, students gain hands-on experience in the field, complementing their academic studies, and preparing them for the challenges of modern agriculture. This holistic approach equips graduates with the skills necessary to innovate and excel in the agricultural sector.

Cairn Oil & Gas has offered to help the Government of Rajasthan by providing the vocational skill Training centre - Cairn Centre of Excellence to district administration, Jodhpur for using them as a temporary isolation centre/ COVID Care Centre.
The centre has been instrumental in supporting government in addressing the nations requirement to tackle with COVID 19 pandemic during both its phases.
