The Animal Care Organization (TACO) is the flagship animal welfare initiative of the Anil Agarwal Foundation, launched in 2022 to promote a compassionate ecosystem where animals live with dignity. Anchored in the ‘One Health’ framework, TACO focuses on six key pillars—shelter, hospital, academy, wildlife conservation, disaster response, and sector development. With over 60,000 animals cared for, TACO is redefining animal welfare in India. Aligned with this vision, we have partnered with local conservation societies like the Jambheshwar Environment & Wildlife Society to strengthen rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation of injured animals, fostering regional biodiversity and sustainable co-existence.
