Mobile Health Van

Project Highlights

  • 80,539 community members across 214 villages availed curative and preventive healthcare services through our MHVs running across our operational areas.
  • Multiple awareness sessions and health camps were organized to sensitize community members on the importance of health and adopting a healthy lifestyle. These interventions sought services from specialist doctors such as Gynecologists, Pediatricians, Dermatologists, Orthopedics and more in multiple health camps reaching out to more than 7,000 people.
  • Home visits were also a part of the last-mile healthcare services for senior citizens and critical patients who face challenges to reach our MHVs. In FY’24 we provided 216 home visits across different locations.

Project Highlights

  • Throughout the year, multiple awareness sessions/health camps were organised to apprise beneficiaries of measures to maintain good health. Specialist doctor services (Gynaecologist, paediatrician, dermatologist, etc.) were also brought in through Mega Health Camps, cumulatively reaching out to 7355 people.
  • Generating a community saving of INR 1.14 crores by providing free primary health care facilities to the last mile possible.

Project Highlights

  • In addition to the daily OPD services, regular multiple camps and awareness drives were conducted through the MHV. More than 11,356 people have benefited through awareness sessions/camps.
  • Based on a third-party assessment, 90% of the respondents have confirmed an improvement in health services and reduce medical expense is due to MHV services available at doorsteps.
  • 68,000+ community members benefitted from regular OPD services provided by the mobile health vans. On an average INR 200 per person per day is saved due to MHV reaching to interior of villages.

Project Highlights -

  • More than 1,14,654 community members have benefited from OPD services of MHV by 6 vans. Out of these 52,963 were male and 61,691 were female members.
  • Regular multi-specialty health camps are conducted where services of gynecologist, orthopedic specialist, pediatrician, ENT specialist, dentist, and general practitioner are provided. More than 1500 people have benefited across 6 mega camps.
  • In addition to conducting regular OPD visits, various regular awareness drives are been organized across these villages, on topics of menstrual health and hygiene, creating awareness on malaria, dengue, Swing flu, etc. benefiting more than 20,000 community members.
  • Based on the recent third-party assessment, 90% of the respondents have confirmed an improvement in health services and reduce medical expense is due to MHV services available at doorsteps.
