Project Highlights
To extend our reach to the remotest areas and empower women by enhancing their skills, two SPOC (Single Point of Contact) centers were established around Barmer. 60 students were enrolled in programs including Beautician Technician and Assistant Masonry.
In FY 23-24, CEC launched a new online course on Debt Recovery Agents (DRA) with the aim to train and certify individuals who want to work as DRAs in the banking and financial sector. The course includes topics such as legal aspects, communication skills, recovery techniques, and customer service
A new course on Data analyst (MIS) was designed and launched at CEC catering to the building needs of mastering and harnessing the skills of creating and managing business-relevant data using the advanced features of MS Excel. It provides job opportunities in the banking and finance sector to trained youth.
Training Engagement Sessions (TES) are conducted round the year to keep the trainees involved and develop an association with the course and the center. This platform provided them with space to interact and get to know their peers, which further helps in the overall personality development of the students.
Multiple exposure visits for the government school students have been organized frequently to CEC to disseminate the importance of vocational training and skill development.
To create awareness on Cairn’s Skill Training Initiative, Kaushal Vikas Yatra was launched this month. Over the course of 3 days, 98 villages of 29 blocks across Barmer and Jalore were covered. Key stakeholders, including more than 30 alumni, were also a part of this initiative.
To provide students with necessary market exposure and hands-on experience, regular exposure visits and compulsory on-the-job training are provided to all batches at CEC, enhancing their industry exposure.

Project Highlights
Reach: 15,718 students trained, with 80% placement record since inception. Presently 254 students are enrolled across 5 trades including basic computers, mobile handset engineer and basic electrician and more.
The first of its kind, an all-girls batch on ‘beautician technicians’ has been launched. 30 women from Baiytu region have been enrolled.
Four exposure visits were organised for students in their respective ongoing trades to mobile service centres, Atal Seva Kendra, 133KV Grid Sub Station (GSS) and interaction with eminent stakeholders like Trainee IAS, HR of Perennial Technologies to expand their horizons and provide better learning opportunities.
A campus placement drive has also been extended to the students of Barmer ITI, ensuring equal opportunities for quality placement.

Project Highlights
In FY 21-22 438 students have been trained in certificate trades such as Computer Operator, Electrician, Debt Recovery Agents, Goods & Services Tax (GST) Accounts Assistant - Online, Handset Repair Engineer (Level II) and ACLS & BLS.
Various exposure visits, and guest lectures by industry experts have been conducted for trainees at CEC respectively. These visits add to hands-on learning and better preparedness for real-life professional situations.
Virtual training courses continued this year in DRA and GST to ensure continued learning despite the COVID restrictions.
Based on the community request, a 3-day special training for certification in ACLS and BLS was organised for medical students and paramedic staff at CEC, Barmer. 88 students were enrolled in the course.
Continuous engagement was maintained with students through weekly training engagement activities, celebration of batch ceremonies, alumni connects and celebration of special days.

Project Highlights
A total of 629 students have been enrolled & trained in Cairn vocational training institute (CEC) located at Barmer.
Considering the COVID situation, the CEC first time introduced online courses like GST and DRA (Data Recovery Analysis) and developed total 90 local youths as private practitioner & consultants for business services.
The center has recorded 80 per cent placement with an average salary of INR 10,000 to 12,000.
On the request of the administration and community needs, CEC has organized training on CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Recissions) for different selected sectors youth & employees like police department, Urban Home guards, Civil Defiance, NCC & NSS cadets. More than 300 Participants attended the sessions in favors of social welfare.

More than 700 students have been trained across Cairn vocational training institute located at Barmer, Sanchore, and Jodhpur.
These centres have recorded 80 per cent placement with an average salary of INR 8,000 to 10,000.
728 students have undergone classroom trainings related to electricians, mobile phone repair, masonry and computer operator, etc. across Barmer, Sanchore, and Jodhpur with a placement record of 80 per cent.
Various exposure visits, and guest lectures by industry experts have been conducted for trainees at CEC and CCoE respectively. These visits add to hands-on learning and better preparedness for real life professional situations.
As a part of stakeholder engagement, student alumni meets, and parent meetings have been organised. The events were a huge success, students shared their experiences of earning an average salary of 8,000 to 10,000 within six months of completing their course.
