Support to District Hospital

With our continuous support, the Barmer District Hospital continues to Rank 1st across Rajasthan in terms of facilities and hygiene standards for 2 consecutive years 2022 and 2023 under the Kaya Kalp Initiative led by National Health Mission.
Throughout the year, World Health Day, International Nurses Day, International Labour Day, AIDS days were celebrated with great fervor within the hospital premises.
More than 41,171 members benefited through the services provided by Cairn supported specialist doctors.
More than 21.32 Lakh people visited the hospital and availed the support extended by Cairn.
A Super Specialty Wing, currently under construction at the Government Medical College, Barmer, is underway where we have extended our support. This wing will offer advanced medical services and facilities to the people of Barmer and nearby areas.

With continuous support from Cairn, the District Hospital continues to Rank 1st across Rajasthan in terms of facilities and hygiene standards for the past four years.
World Health Day, International Nurses Day, etc. were celebrated with great fervour within the hospital premises.
Medical equipment worth ~ INR 4.5 Crores has been handed over to Government Hospital, Barmer on behalf of AAF (Anil Agarwal Foundation). These include major equipment such as ESG machines, BiPaP machines, defibrillator along with oxygen cylinders, nebulizers, wheelchairs, and other small appliances.
By deploying specialist doctors in the District Hospital, a community saving of Rs. 2.57 crores have been generated.

Under the 'Clean Barmer Green Barmer Intervention' 62 staff have been diligently working towards ensuring the hospital premises and facilities are clean.
Intensive sanitization and cleanliness drives are been carried out at District hospital to ensure maximum care is taken to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 pandemic.
Close to 12.27 lakh people visited District hospital and availed the cleanliness support extended by Cairn in improving district hospital facilities.
Cairn supported workers were felicitated for their self less service during the pandemic by district administration on multiple occasions

In addition to the above, under initiative of GOI, it was asked to capture patient feedback for the services received at the hospital through user-friendly multiple channels such as SMS, Outbound Dialing, mobile application, and web portal. In this survey, Barmer District hospital ranked 1st amongst 28 district hospitals for the 2nd time in row.

Three Cairn employed doctors - a gynecologist, a surgeon, and an ENT specialist checked more than 45,555 people in the OPD, performed 2,945 surgeries, and conducted 301 institutional deliveries in the district hospital.
62 staff members have been actively engaged in cleaning and maintaining hygiene at the district hospital. More than 11,09,935 community members have benefitted from their services.
Based on a patient satisfaction survey conducted by Directorate Medical & Health, Government of Rajasthan in May 2019, the Barmer District Hospital has been ranked the best among all district hospitals in Rajasthan due to our health care interventions.
